David H. Keyte

CHAIRMAN & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

David H. Keyte has over 40 years’ experience in the financial and energy industries. He is the Co-founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Caerus, a privately held natural gas producer operating in Western Colorado since 2009 and in Eastern Utah since mid-2020. At Caerus, Mr. Keyte has been the principal in acquisitions of more than $1.3 billion in assets . Prior to founding Caerus, Mr. Keyte spent 22 years with Forest Oil Corporation, the last 14 serving as Chief Financial Officer. During his tenure at Forest Oil, Mr. Keyte was principal in 25 significant merger and acquisition transactions totaling $7.7 billion, two of which were awarded Oil and Gas Investor’s Financial Deal of the Year for their creative structure and value creation. Additionally, Mr. Keyte was principal in 47 capital market transactions totaling $8.5 billion.

Mr. Keyte served as director of Regal Entertainment Group (RGC) from 2006 to 2018, and from 2011 to 2018, he served on RGC’s compensation committee. In April 2019, Mr. Keyte was appointed director for Antero Midstream Corporation (AM) and is currently AM’s Lead Director, Chairman of the Compensation Committee, and a member of AM’s Governance Committee. Mr. Keyte also serves on the Board of the Western Energy Alliance.

Mr. Keyte holds a B.S. degree in Economics from the Wharton School of Finance, University of Pennsylvania.

Jeter Thomas

PRESIDENT & CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Mr. Thomas has been the CFO at Caerus since 2011. He joined Caerus as the Company’s first hired employee in charge of business development in January 2010. Prior to joining Caerus, Mr. Thomas served as Senior Business Development Engineer for Puckett Land Company, a private company engaged in the acquisition, development and production of natural gas in the Piceance Basin of Western Colorado.

Previously, Mr. Thomas was a member of Chevron’s MBA Finance Development Program; he also spent four years with Forest Oil Corporation in various engineering capacities. Mr. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree in Systems Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania and graduated with High Distinction from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, where he obtained his Master of Business Administration degree.

 

Allison Woolston

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, GENERAL COUNSEL AND SECRETARY 

Ms. Woolston has served as the Secretary and General Counsel of Caerus since October 2017. In addition to her legal responsibilities, Ms. Woolston heads up the Land, EHS, Regulatory/Government Relations, and Human Resources Departments and is the executive sponsor of Caerus’ ESG Committee. Ms. Woolston previously served as a Senior Attorney at Encana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc., where she provided legal services to Encana’s assets in Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming, and Texas, and was lead attorney on the divestitures of Encana’s assets in Colorado. Before joining Encana, Ms. Woolston clerked at the Colorado Court of Appeals and then served as an Associate with the Energy Team in Norton Rose Fulbright’s Denver office.

Prior to her legal career, Ms. Woolston was a veterinarian in Sheridan, Wyoming. Ms. Woolston graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Dartmouth College, with honors from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, and summa cum laude and Order of the Coif from the University of Arizona Rogers College of Law. In 2019, Ms. Woolston was named one of the Denver Business Journals Top Women in Energy.

In addition to her responsibilities at Caerus, Ms. Woolston is a member of the Advisory Board of Western Energy Alliance, serves as the Vice-Chair of Heart & Hand, a non-profit focused on meeting the educational needs of underserved children, and is the past Chair of the Colorado Oil and Gas Association.
